You're invited to join two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Kristine Lilly and Special Olympics Connecticut in honoring extraordinary Connecticut women at the 3rd Annual Lilly Awards event.
The Lilly Awards, an evening of celebration, will take place on Thursday, November 8, 2007, at the Quick Center for the Arts, Fairfield University, 1073 North Benson Road, Fairfield, CT from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. 
Lilly Awards will be presented to extraordinary women who demonstrate an uncommon commitment, perseverance, dedication and participation in their respective fields.
This year's honorees include:      

Suzy Whaley, LPGA Professional Golfer
Anne Worcester, Director, Pilot Pen Tennis Tournament
Robin Faller, VP/General Manager, Cox Radio 
Eva Franchi, Founder of the Sergio Franchi Music Foundation    
Lisa LaRusso, Special Olympics Athlete

This year, the Lilly Awards are pleased to welcome some very special guests:

Sarah LeMieux & the Super Blue Band
& other notable names from the world of sports

Proceeds from the event will benefit Special Olympics Connecticut and the 5,079 Special Olympics Connecticut athletes, who every day display the same commitment, perseverance, dedication and participation as this year's honorees.

Special Olympics Connecticut, Southwest Region, provides year-round athletic training and competitions for over 1,500 athletes with intellectual disabilities and unified partners in the Southwest portion of the state, including children and adults who reside in communities from Greenwich to Madison.

Involvement in Special Olympics' athletic programs and competitions helps participants enhance their physical, emotional and social development and make great achievements in sports and all aspects of their lives!
